Problem:
GlobalProtect VPN is stuck on connecting or fails to establish a connection
Symptoms:
- VPN stuck on "Connecting"
- Connection attempt times out
- VPN never fully connects
- User says "VPN not connecting"
Cause:
- Network connectivity issue
- DNS resolution problem
- Firewall or ISP blocking VPN traffic
Resolution:
1. Verify internet connection is working (open a website and try browsing)
2. Restart computer
3. Switch network (WiFi to mobile hotspot if possible)
4. Close and reopen GlobalProtect
5. Attempt to reconnect VPN
