Follow these instructions to restore Egnyte files from web and local backups
- Web Portal Restore
- Egnyte admin accounts have access to the full web Trash folder, so any deleted items are available to be restored from this location for 30days
- Search for the file name and any other identifying info that you can to narrow down the search
- Select the folder/file and choose restore from the right hand menu
- Local Backup Restore (Kahuna and Films)
- Kahuna
- Connect to PC-FileShares (10.60.1.7) and open the Kahuna backup drive location
- Grab the folder/file you need to restore, copy it into your Downloads folder on your RDP connection
- Open a browser window and navigate to the Egnyte dashboard
- Create a restore folder inside the appropriate client/job folder and upload the folder/files from your Downloads folder
- Films
- Connect to Dallas-new (10.75.4.7) and open the Films backup drive location
- Grab the folder/file you need to restore, copy it into the IT file share location
- Move to Rogue2 (10.74.1.11) and open a browser window and navigate to the Egnyte dashboard
- Create a restore folder inside the appropriate client/job folder and upload the folder/files from the IT file share location
- Kahuna
